High School Diploma requirements

To receive a Standard Path Diploma from Ivy Global School, students must successfully complete the General Requirements below, with a minimum of 6 credits requires with Ivy Global School.  

 

GENERAL DIPLOMA REQUIREMENTS

English

4 credits

Math

4 credits (Algebra 1 and higher)

Science

3 credits 

Social Studies

3 credits (must include 1 credit of US History)

World Language

2 credits (Two consecutive years of the same language not English)

Fine & Performing Arts

1 credit (Fine Arts or Music)

Other Academic Courses

4 credits (MOET courses eligible for transfer credit)

Total (minimum)

21 credits

 

Students can earn more than 21 credits after completing a semester at Ivy Global School if they maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

High-school pathways

Standard Diploma Pathway

Full-time enrollment at IGS. Students complete the full 21-credit program, with at least 6 credits earned at IGS, and graduate with the IGS U.S. diploma.

Dual Enrollment Pathway

Part-time enrollment alongside the student's current school. Students earn a minimum of 6 IGS credits in English Language Arts and Social Studies, transferring the remaining credits
